Basic Fitness Program
Fitness is nothing new, it’s been around for centuries.
Take your training one day at a time!
We start with a Health Assessment questionnaire which will tell us a bit about your health history, and your current health. Regardless of whether you have high blood pressure, osteoporosis, weight issues or past injuries, the program is designed around your safety.
One — Measuring Your Body
- We take your resting heart rate to calculate what your best cardio range should be to meet your goals.
- We measure your body fat and calculate your BMI. Sounds daunting, but it’s not 🙂
- You tell us your goals.
Two — Fitness Strength Testing
We start with a muscular strength test with free weights to determine the weight you can lift repeatedly without strain. We do this with the lower body, the upper body and the core.
Three — Cardio Testing
We test your cardio endurance working within the range that was determined in item One.
Four — Your Program
We design your program to fit the number of times per week you can work out. We ensure all the exercises are done in a safe and progressive manor. Safety is Number One!
